Call me Anne

Call me Anne

Don’t miss this weekends performance of Call me Anne at Access Theater. It is

Here is a short overview:
The actress Anne Heche heard the voice of God ringing in her ears. He said that she was His daughter, Celestia, and told her of the earthly tasks she must perform before her ascension to heaven. Soon Heche had rocketed to superstardom, starring both in Hollywood blockbusters (Wag the Dog, Six Days Seven Nights) and the explosive controversy over a widely publicized love affair with Ellen DeGeneres.

Playing over a dozen roles, writer/performer Phillip Taratula (with “impeccable comic timing” - NYTIMES, and “chameleon-like skill” - BROADWAYWORLD.COM) takes us on Anne’s spiritual journey, set against a show-biz backdrop where only the strongest egos survive. CALL ME ANNE is a dizzy and hilarious trip, a brutally funny look at identity and ambition.
